| Preview allows you to see to whom the
spam reports will be sent, information about the source of the spam and the
links that were identified in the spam body. Below that is the content of
the spam [with all email addresses and other items that may be traceable
back to you removed]. The content includes the full headers and the body of
the spam with all of the 'obfuscations' including phony HTML tags, encoded
text, microscopic font sizes and numerous other ridiculous items spammers put
in the junk they send out also either decoded or removed. SpamX also
decodes spam bodies encoded with 'base64' encoding which would otherwise be
humanly unreadable and the cleans them up per above. Figure 2, below,
shows more of the report preview. Below that are examples of just some of the
spam 'de-obfuscation' that SpamX performs. |
