Exporting Addresses/Contacts

 | The first examples are taken from Outlook
Express™ running on Mac™ OS 9.2 - Other Email clients have very similar means of exporting an
address book to a file.
Choose the File menu and select Export Contacts. |

Save the file to a place you will remember on your hard disk.
The SpamX folder is an exceptional place to save the file. |

Windows requires a few extra steps but it goes quickly.
Select "File" and choose "Import and Export..." |

Select "Export to a file" and click "Next>".

Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click "Next>".

Select the Contacts folder and click "Next>".

Save the file to a place you will remember on your hard disk.
Once again, the SpamX folder is an exceptional place to save the file.
Click "Next>".

Insure the text on the selected line refers to the Contacts folder and
click "Finish".
Do not worry about mapping any custom fields - SpamX only uses the Email
addresses from the saved file.

Select Text File (Comma Separated Values) and click "Export".

In case we forgot to mention this before,
the SpamX folder is a fabulous place to save the file.
Click "Next>".

Insure the Email Address box is checked and
click "Finish".

addresses from the saved file.
