By "debilitating" we mean a problem that prevents SpamX from trapping spam - Not just one spam but all or most of them.
This must be a bona fidé bug in the software itself, not just a failure to enter your email account, etc. correctly, one which we do not already know about and is, of course, at our sole determination.

The overwhelming majority of these problems are due to peculiar ISP mailserver configurations that have not been accounted for as we cannot read the minds of every mailserver admin at every ISP on the planet. We have tried to account for as many as possible but it is inevitable that some have "slipped through the cracks". As it is physically impossible for us to get a mail account at every ISP in existence to test for these peculiarities, we need your help!

Be the first from your ISP to report it at:
If you discover this type of problem, open the Config application in SpamX and activate Logging.
Run a mail check with SpamX [in Manual Mode].
NOTE: This MUST be a check where there is mail on your mailserver or the log file will not contain the information we need. You can always send two emails from yourself to yourself to make sure there is mail waiting on the server.
Once this has been successfully completed turn Logging back off again.

Locate the Logging file(s) in the SpamX folder.
The Logging file name(s) will be of the form: TCOut#.spx where the '#' is a number [can be '0' (zero)]. If you have defined more than one email account for SpamX to check there will be a Logging file for each one i.e. TCOut0.spx, TCOut1.spx and so forth.

Send us an email with a description of the problem and include the Logging file(s) as an attachment (or attachments).
NOTE: DO NOT Copy & Paste the contents of the Logging file(s) into the inline mail body - They MUST be attachments!

In the problem description be sure to include the version of SpamX you are running [found in "About..." in the File Menu in Config], the Operating System and OS Version you are running, the name of your ISP [i.e. "example.com"] and a listing of the settings from the Config Window.

If you know what a TCP Traffic 'Sniffer' is, happen to have one and can include a copy of the TCP traffic while the SpamX mail check was running the chances of us finding the cause of the problem will be significantly improved.

What we'll do. Correct the problem, send you an update and a free complimentary registration.
